HELIX SCAR3 leverages the HELIX platform’s full pulse-shape architecture, enabled by PSD™ (Pulse Shape Design) Technology, which provides four fractionated and standard pulse shapes: Smart Pulse (SP), Deka Pulse (DP), High Pulse (HP), and Continuous Wave (CW). This flexibility gives clinicians precise control over ablation depth and thermal impact across a wide range of traumatic and burn scars.

The exclusive High Pulse (HP) mode is a high-energy, short-pulse necessary for ablating dense scar tissue at clinically relevant depths while controlling thermal impact. HELIX SCAR3 can deliver HP as a single or sub-pulsed fractional emission, allowing micro-cooling intervals between bursts of energy to help manage epidermal response and reduce erythema without compromising efficacy. This controlled delivery supports meaningful therapeutic depth with consistent, predictable thermal management.

ADVANCED SCANNING CAPABILITIES

The HELIX SCAR3 scanner provides precise control over treatment delivery with rapid access to key parameters, including ratio, shape, and size. This allows clinicians to tailor energy placement with accuracy across varying scar types and anatomical regions.

HELIX SCAR3 also supports more natural, uniform outcomes. Spray Mode randomizes micro-spots to minimize overlap and reduce visible demarcation lines between treated areas. The SmartTrack™ algorithm further enhances thermal management by optimizing scan sequencing, limiting excess heat to surrounding tissue, and supporting improved post-treatment recovery.

Its unique delivery mode achieves the same clinical energy endpoints while significantly reducing procedural discomfort.
