In this exclusive interview with Dr. Mandal, we learn about her philosophy on facial rejuvenation, why she chose EVERESSE, and the key drivers behind her success with this cutting-edge treatment.
Q: Thank you for sitting down with us, Dr. Mandal. Can you tell us a bit more about your practice?
Dr. Mandal: As a double-board certified facial plastic surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive face and neck rejuvenation, I take pride in offering the latest, most advanced techniques in non-surgical skin tightening and lifting, injectables, and regenerative aesthetics. My practice focuses on facial rejuvenation, both surgical and minimally invasive, with the goal of achieving beautiful contours and natural results.
As a boutique practice offering 1:1 personalized attention to my patients, I perform all the treatments myself, regardless of whether it’s surgery, laser, filler, or Botox. Premium quality aesthetic care is my highest priority, and we always want to bring in the most cutting-edge technologies and techniques before the rest of the market catches on, which was the case with EVERESSE as well. These days, patients are constantly bombarded with a multitude of laser brands, endorsements from celebrities (who we all know are paid millions of dollars), and so many marketing gimmicks, it can be very confusing to sort out the noise from what truly works. I want to be in a position to say, “There is nothing better out there than what I am offering. If there were, I’d own it!”
Q: You were one of the first practices in the country to offer the EVERESSE monopolar RF device. What impressed you most about this technology?
Dr. Mandal: To be honest, I already had several minimally invasive skin tightening technologies that my patients were happy with; being the cynic that I am, I had no plans to bring EVERESSE to my practice. But everything changed when I demo-ed the device. The results were amazing! I realized EVERESSE was truly unique. Not only was the treatment painless with no downtime, but it was also superior in tightening and lifting the skin compared to any other device I had used. It was better than Ultrasound, RF microneedling, HIFU, as well as traditional monopolar devices such as Thermage when it comes to treating skin laxity.
When you combine EVERESSE’s breakthrough technology with the fact that treatments are pain-free with zero downtime, I had a strong feeling it would be a big hit with my patients. Unlike other devices, another big plus was the fact that most patients could see immediate results and literally go back to work, dinner, or a special event as soon as the treatment was finished.
Q: What has your experience with EVERESSE been as an aesthetic provider? And what have your patients been saying about their results?
Dr. Mandal: The treatment is easy to perform as a provider. And because I use advanced Korean vectorizing techniques for more effective results (more below!), I’m seeing such a high level of patient satisfaction that patients continue to return for other types of treatments to complement their EVERESSE results. The EVERESSE has been integral in solidifying a level of trust and confidence in my patients’ perception of the quality of service they can expect from me with future procedures.

Q: Are there any trends you’re seeing in your market that EVERESSE aligns with?
Dr. Mandal: Patients are seeking treatments that are efficacious but pain-free at the same time. This is especially important in Palm Beach where there’s a good mix of mature patients and retirees in their 60’s to 80’s, and their skin tends to be more sensitive. The fact that there’s no downtime with EVERESSE is also big plus for my younger patients in their 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s since they can’t afford to take time off to recover between their work and social activities.
Q: In addition to your extensive experience with this sophisticated technology as one of its earliest adopters, what makes your EVERESSE treatments unique?
Dr. Mandal: Firstly, I personally perform all my treatments. This allows me to understand each patient’s needs on a personal level and customize the approach to their facial rejuvenation. Secondly, I have developed specific techniques and treatment approaches to enhance my patients’ outcomes – specifically Korean vectoring techniques and my famous Sandwich Method.
The advanced Korean vectoring technique treats the facial tissues as a three-dimensional structure. Rather than simply heating or resurfacing tissue in a generalized grid pattern, vectors are mapped out in areas where the skin has lost its lift and support (commonly the jawline, cheeks, and brow) and linear passes are made in the direction of these specific vectors to increase collagen remodeling in a pattern that mimics and supports the skin’s and soft tissue’s original architecture. These techniques were first developed in South Korea’s advanced aesthetic clinics, and it’s something I’ve invested significant time in learning and honing to deliver superior results to my patients.
The other technique I’m known for is the “Sandwich Method.” This approach allows me to offer a premier non-surgical facelift for those patients who don’t want or aren’t ready for surgery. Laxity is not just due to the loss of collagen in the skin; the other layer we must address is the fibro-muscular layer attached to the undersurface of the skin known as the SMAS. It’s common in facial plastic surgery to tighten the SMAS as a standard part of facelifts. However, when it comes to minimal invasive therapies, the SMAS was the missing link as we didn’t have effective options to address it non-surgically, until now. When I’m approaching the face non-invasively, I often stack modalities so I can address these multiple tissue layers of the facial anatomy (like layers of a sandwich). I use EVERESSE for skin tightening and stimulating collagen and elastin in the deep dermal layers. I then combine it with advanced Ultrasound technology that allows me to directly visualize the SMAS to effectively tighten and lift it. This offers a comprehensive non-surgical protocol to my patients that can give a more durable, natural result.
While many can buy the same device, not everyone can deliver the same experience and same results. Combining my background and knowledge as a facial plastic surgeon with the advanced techniques I’ve developed and perfected allows me to offer more comprehensive facial rejuvenation options for superior results with a superior patient experience.
Q: Who do you think is an ideal patient for EVERESSE?
Dr. Mandal: EVERESSE really is the treatment for everyone – all ages and all genders. It’s great for younger patients who aren’t ready for surgery or are looking for something preventative, but it’s also ideal for mature patients who may have already had a facelift and want to maintain their results and minimize future aging.
Q: What are some of your favorite areas to treat with EVERESSE?
Dr. Mandal: Since my practice focuses on the face and the neck, I love treating those areas and providing those instant result patients can see, not to mention the ongoing improvement that occurs over the following months. With the larger S tip, I’ve also been seeing great results on the abdomen, thighs, and upper arms. Flabby arms in particular – we see the best results, especially in patients who work out but just have some skin laxity. I’m also seeing great responses to the treatment across a broad age group – anywhere from patients in their 30’s to their 80’s.
Q: Are you using EVERESSE in combination with any other treatments or services?
Dr. Mandal: Yes! The EVERESSE is easy to combine with other minimally invasive modalities. I routinely combine it with CO2 laser for skin resurfacing, dermal micro-coring, advanced ultrasound for SMAS lifting and tightening, fillers as well as Botox.
Q: How many treatments do you perform on average?
Dr. Mandal: Since launch, I’ve performed well over 200 treatments! Currently, I perform an average of 5-8 treatments a week, sometimes a lot more.
Q: Are you happy with the return on investment from your EVERESSE?
Dr. Mandal: Absolutely. I paid off my device 5 weeks from the date of purchase; that was a record even in my practice where it’s quite common to pay off devices within 6 months. We made sure to do our homework to prepare for the device’s arrival: set up the pricing, the EMR template, the consents and paperwork, all the social media, and the website optimization. From a marketing perspective, I focused mostly on local marketing initiatives directly to my own patient base – I didn’t do anything extravagant or put myself out there. It just came down to knowing what will speak to my target market.
