Cartessa Aesthetics, LLC sources leading aesthetic medical devices globally for U.S. and Canadian dermatologists, plastic surgeons, cosmetic physicians, and medical spas. Because we are not tethered to any one manufacturer, we are able to select amongst the most cutting edge technologies that offer clinically proven efficacy, patient safety, and the best possible investment for patients and professionals.
OUR SELECTION PROCESS
Our United States FDA-cleared devices are evaluated, trialed, and hand selected based on our 3-point criteria:
- Clinical Efficacy — Including predictability, versatility and patient satisfaction
- Patient Experience — Focusing on those devices that minimize pain and downtime
- Return on Investment — Factoring in purchase and ownership costs, realistic patient volumes and fee schedules
UNIQUE BUSINESS MODEL
Being independent means Cartessa can act as an agent to identify products that will yield consistently strong financial returns and can side-step the premiums that others may charge.
It also means we can react to market trends and research findings more quickly and engage breakthrough aesthetic technology manufacturers for whom distribution costs have been otherwise prohibitive
When it comes to our team, we like to think of ourselves as “boutique” versus small.
Our success is predicated upon the satisfaction of our customers and their clients, so the Cartessa team wants to keep it personal.
Email us, call us, or even text us — we seek to understand your practice and provide the specialized support that only a boutique firm can.
“Over the last few years, the aesthetic device market stopped being about what is best for doctors and their patients and more about the manufacturer. My ambition is that Cartessa and our unique business model will change that.”
— Gabe Lubin, Founder & CEO
We’ve removed the obstacles so Cartessa can be a true agent for you, your practice and your patients.
Cartessa Aesthetics was founded in 2017 in New York, based on the premise that as an independent agent, our team could source and distribute best-in-class devices while offering a more attractive financial ROI to the practitioner.
Large, energy-based device manufacturers carry significant marketing expenses on their balance sheets, are often beholden to shareholders, and internal processes and politics can stand in the way of innovation. On the other hand, marketing and distribution cost of entry can be prohibitive to breakthrough aesthetic technologies reaching the market — whether United States based or globally. Cartessa was formed to say goodbye to all of that — to establish relationships across manufacturers and to hand-select devices that deliver the best clinical results and patient experiences.
