Practice Development Manager


This individual will report directly to the President of Emerging Technology and plays an integral part in the strategic and day to day activities required to build profitable relationships & maintain awareness of Cartessa as an organization, post sale. Practice Development consultants are assigned to a geographic subset of Cartessa Customers, which are aesthetic providers – dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medspas etc. The Physiq Practice Development Consultant is divided into halves: Eastern and Western United States. This role is for the Western half of the United States and the applicant can live anywhere in the Central to Western US.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Account / Device Support – ensure that each and every customer, with assign region has access to key tools and resources to effectively and efficiently integrate new Cartessa devices into their practices. This post sale support program, allows us to cater to our clients individual marketing needs by focusing on the following:
  • Marketing Strategy – work with Cartessa customers on an individualized basis to help them outline general marketing strategy(s), specific to their new Cartessa device. Although PD focuses on Cartessa devices, truly beneficial marketing strategies require inclusion of overall practice goals / offerings.
  • Asset Development – provide clear briefs to our agencies but also employ do-it-yourself tactics where necessary. This includes sales collateral, social assets, etc. - Product positioning and branding – with a number of new products coming in 2020, there will be devices that require names, brand logos, positioning, creative identities, copy etc. to be developed. These projects and agency partners need to be managed to meet specific deadlines -
  • Event Guidance and onsite support– PD consultants will provide onsite support to customers, based on varying needs. A minimum of 5 onsite visits required, per month.
  • PD Program Insights and Support – to ensure the continued growth and value add that the practice development program provides, PD consultants are required to provide quarterly insights to the program.
  • Local Sales Support – Working in tandem with the local sales team is critical to the overall success of the PD program. Regular meetings with regional pre and post-sale engagement and communication.

Minimum Requirement

  • Must have body contouring experience (post development, consultation, clinical, marketing)
  • Must be able to teach body breakdown consultations (skin, fat, muscle, cellulite) for proper placement, expectations and usage of PHYSIQ.
    o Must be able to teach combination therapy within offices and price appropriately.
  • Competitive device knowledge is a plus*
  • Demonstrated success performing virtual training with accounts
  • Must be energetic and creative with an eye for detail with regard to customer needs.
  • Understand how to effectively utilize a CRM system
  • Quick study on key practice development and lead generation tools
  • Creative approach to marketing strategy, to support different budget points, effectively
  • A charismatic individual that is able to gain trust, quickly, while building long-term ‘partnerships’ with our customers.
  • Digitally savvy – know your way around social channels, digital marketing services, etc. well enough to guide customers
  • Problem solving powerhouse - to ensure your approach is one to help customers as well as team members
  • An interest in aesthetics – you don’t need to be from the industry but have an interest in beauty, health, wellness etc.
  • Experience with (aesthetic) lasers is a plus
  • 5+ years of AESTHETIC and/or customer development experience
  • Self-motivated and able to excel in an agile environment.
