Pioneering LipoAI Surgeon Dr. Paul Kim Featured in Philadelphia Style Magazine

Paul S. Kim, MD, board-certified plastic surgeon and owner of Legacy Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics, was one of the first surgeons to pioneer LipoAI and explore new use cases and protocols for this unique technology. Dr. Kim was recently featured in Philadelphia Style magazine as an "Innovator in Aesthetics & Beauty". Below is an excerpt from his feature, as seen in the December issue of Philadelphia Style. 

What gives your practice a competitive edge? 

We use state-of-the-art new technologies, such as lasers, to improve collagen synthesis and improve skin tightening. I was one of the lead investigators and am a national trainer on a new machine called LipoAI that melts fat to a pinprick, and I'm in the process of developing new techniques with almost no scarring. 

What has been your biggest accomplishment this past year?

I was given a trademark by the US Government for the terms pinprick face lift and pinprick neck lift, two of my newest procedures. Plus, every satisfied and happy patient is an accomplishment - that never changes.

What do you anticipate your most requested procedures will be for the holiday season?

For the holiday season, people often do the bigger procedures like face lifts, eyelids, and body contouring. My weight loss program has been very popular and the patients are doing great, plus more skin tightening with the new technologies we have in the office.
