Associate Marketing Manager
This individual will report to the VP of Marketing and support key parts of the product portfolio – from strategic vision, branding, sales strategies to day-to-day activities that drive awareness and consideration amongst aesthetic providers – dermatologists, plastic surgeons, med spas etc. The marketing team is primarily focused on B2B activities, but we are responsible for giving our customers the tools they need to market their technologies and treatments to patients. Marketing is the central hub between sales, product specialists, and post-sale practice development.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Product Management – Assist the VP of Marketing in crafting the strategy and executing the communications for the assigned product portfolio. This includes visual identity and expression across all key channels – owned, earned and paid – and working closely across the product and sales teams to ensure complete alignment.

Asset Management – Develop and manage critical marketing materials – this includes B2B sales materials (printed and on our presentation platform), DTC assets such as patient brochures, in-office literature, social ads etc. Responsible for maintaining library of testimonials, before and after photos, video testimonials etc. and packaging them in a way that is impactful and relevant for sales/practitioners.

New Launch/Brand Development – Support the VP of Marketing on upcoming product launches or technology updates. May include briefing and interfacing with agency partners, naming exercises, message/visual identity development, asset creative, KOL engagement, liaison with manufacturing partners and overseeing timeline to get to launch.

CRM/Digital – Partner with the engagement team and external agencies on executing digital strategies to support key brand initiatives. The objective of our team is to drive qualified leads and shorten the sales cycle for the local sales teams via awareness and nurturing digital campaigns (PPC, Paid Social, Email, white papers etc.) that move customers through the “funnel”.

Customer Engagement – Work closely with sales and product specialists to identify key insights and opportunities for customer engagement – to support practice treatment consumption, aid in best-practice sharing and drive awareness amongst current customers of business building opportunities.

Practice Development – Ensure practice materials are on-brand and accurate. Evaluate materials on an ongoing basis to ensure they reflect the latest learnings and feedback. Collaborate with the practice development team on opportunities to increase sell-through.
Minimum Requirement
The Right Candidate…
We’re a fast-moving, nimble organization, and the right candidate is eager to learn, willing to wear many different hats, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. This person might find themselves doing the work of a copywriter, digital designer, data analyst, event planner, etc. There is the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the business and interface with key team members from across the organization.
- 2-3 years of marketing experience (brand marketing experience a plus) MINIMUM
- Organized and able to juggle multiple projects at once
- Must be creative with an eye for detail
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Digitally savvy – know your way around social channels, design apps, etc. well enough to get things done
- Experience designing social posts, PowerPoint presentations, and general marketing documents a plus
- An interest in aesthetics – you don’t need to be from the industry but have an interest in beauty, health, wellness etc. Experience with lasers is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to excel in an agile environment
- Strong project and people management capabilities
Cartessa is headquartered in Melville, Long Island. The candidate would be expected to be at the Long Island office at least one day a week.
