Patients Want to look like themselves, but better
Q: What trends or shifts have you observed in the injectable and aesthetics business in the last 12-24 months?
Lindsay Bright: As the use of GLP-1 medications has become more widespread, providers are seeing a significant rise in concerns regarding skin laxity, facial volume loss, and changes in body contour following rapid weight reduction. This has driven increased interest in skin-tightening, collagen-stimulating, and volume-restoring treatments.
Patients are also becoming more educated and intentional about their treatment choices, with a growing preference for regenerative approaches that support the body’s natural collagen production and tissue quality. The focus has moved away from an overfilled appearance and toward subtle enhancement, skin health, longevity, and natural-looking outcomes. They are also increasingly embracing multimodal treatment strategies that combine energy-based devices, biostimulators, skincare, and injectables to achieve long-term, holistic results.
These trends reflect a broader industry movement toward prevention, regeneration, and natural aesthetic enhancement while prioritizing patient confidence and overall skin health.
Lisa Weiss: Over the last 12–24 months, we’ve seen a clear shift towards patients wanting natural, less “overdone” results, they want to still look like themselves, just more refreshed, hydrated, and lifted, and they’re more comfortable trusting gradual improvement over time. We’re also seeing more patients pairing EVERESSE with their weight loss journeys or leveraging it post-weight loss treatments to address skin laxity and improve contour.
At the same time, there’s a growing focus on overall skin health, with patients looking to providers not just for in-office treatments, but also for guidance on skincare, sunscreen, and at-home routines to maintain and enhance their results.
Q: How have these trends impacted your injectable business?
Lindsay Bright: As patients move toward more natural-looking outcomes, treatments such as biostimulators, collagen-stimulating therapies, microneedling, regenerative skincare, and combination treatment plans have become increasingly important. Injectables are no longer viewed as a stand-alone solution. Rather than requesting larger volumes of filler, many patients are seeking improvements in skin quality, collagen production, and overall tissue health. With my patients increasingly seek subtle enhancement rather than dramatic transformation, this has shifted consultations toward facial balancing, structural support, and individualized treatment planning rather than simply addressing isolated wrinkles or volume loss. This has likely increased the average patient value while requiring more advanced consultation and treatment planning.
Today’s aesthetic patient expects natural results, personalized care, and evidence-based recommendations. Success is less about the number of syringes injected and more about creating long-term treatment strategies that preserve and enhance natural beauty. As a result, my role has evolved from being primarily an injector to serving as a comprehensive aesthetic strategist—guiding patients through long-term treatment plans that address aging, skin quality, collagen loss, and overall facial and body rejuvenation.

Q: Why did you decide to add EVERESSE to your practice?
Lindsay Bright: One of the most significant shifts we’ve seen in the past 12–24 months is the increase in skin laxity concerns associated with GLP-1-related weight loss. Q: Did you consider any similar technologies, and if so, what made you ultimately decide on EVERESSE?
Lindsay Bright: I strongly considered Sofwave ultrasound-based skin tightening technology. However, after evaluating both technologies, I ultimately chose EVERESSE because it aligned more closely with my patient population, treatment philosophy, and business goals.

Lisa Weiss: We typically recommend EVERESSE to anyone looking for lifted, tighter skin and improved overall skin quality, especially patients experiencing collagen loss or skin laxity who aren’t ready to commit to surgery for skin tightening. We’ve also seen great results in patients who want more tightening in the body. Overall, it tends to perform especially well in patients in their 50s and older, where skin firmness and elasticity are more of a concern.

We've seen strong traction on social media because the results are highly visible and resonate with both current and prospective patients.
