Chrome was featured in a September issue of Aesthetic Insights as a multi-functional, effective, and versatile platform device with a variety of combination treatment options. Below is an excerpt; read the full article here.
The state-of-the-art Chrome (Cartessa Aesthetics, Melville, N.Y.) multifunction platform represents a significant advancement in Q-switched laser technology for skin rejuvenation. Its base Nd:YAG laser runs at 532 nm and 1064 nm, and can incorporate fractional options, long and short pulse technology, intense pulsed light (IPL), and Erbium 2940 nm handpieces. The combinations of laser wavelengths yield over 50 different treatment protocols, noted Yael Halaas, M.D., F.A.C.S., a facial plastic surgeon in New York City. ”It offers clear and effective treatment protocols that demonstrate results on our patients’ skin,” she said. ”We adopted Chrome because we needed Q-switched fast pulse technology in our practice, especially something impressive for treating melasma and low contrast pigmented lesions.”
