Cartessa Aesthetics to Introduce DEKA’s Award-Winning Luxea Platform to US Market

With multiple intense pulsed light and laser handpiece options and plug-and-play connectivity, Luxea offers complete versatility and expandability

Melville, New York – January 7, 2020 – Cartessa Aesthetics has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with DEKA, an ElEn company, to market their award-winning aesthetic platform device, Luxea. Luxea, which received FDA clearance in late December 2019, is the most advanced multi-modality intense pulsed light and laser platform system.  With multiple IPL and laser options, all with plug-and-play connectivity, providers can perform cornerstone aesthetic treatments with one, elite system.

“The US multi-modality platform market has been robust over the last 15 years,” notes Gabe Lubin, Cartessa’s Founder and CEO.  “The concept of being able to offer the widest variety of treatments on one device is extremely appealing to aesthetic providers. Luxea combines the best elements from top platform and laser systems from the last decade.”

Italy’s top manufacturer, DEKA, shares Cartessa’s excitement for Luxea’s potential in the US.  ElEn’s General Manager and DEKA CEO Paolo Salvadeo shared “The US market for aesthetic devices represents the largest in the world.  Luxea has already won Global Aesthetic Awards so we are very enthusiastic about the US business opportunity for Luxea.”

This is not the first time DEKA and Cartessa have partnered to bring cutting edge technology to the US market.  The world-renowned, Italian-based manufacturer and the hyper-growth US aesthetic device company have also introduced the Motus hair removal systems, and the Tetra CO2 featuring CoolPeel technology.  “DEKA has been a great partner for us.  They have a genuine interest in creating unique technology that offers a competitive advantage to providers and a better experience for patients.  They continue to find ways to build technologies that best suit the US Aesthetic market” says Lubin.

Cartessa Aesthetics has commenced accepting orders for Luxea which will start being delivered to practices in February 2020.   Practitioners interested in learning more about Luxea can request more information here.
