Growth seems to be the 2019 anthem at Cartessa Aesthetics.
From products like the Motus AX & AY and Tetra CO2 lasers and Quanta lasers, over five hundred practices have now brought Cartessa’s hand-selected lasers, radio frequency microneedling machines and products like Skinwave into their aesthetic practices. And its not just about incredible technologies, but unique to Cartessa’s mission, 2019 has been about flexing the aesthetic muscles of these technologies to do more for patients and practices. Treatments like CoolPeel, which leverages the unique control of the Tetra CO2 to make this long-standing laser treatment accessible to more patients because of the lack of downtime. More uses mean a better ROI. Dr. Carey Nease, for instance, performs a $800 CoolPeel treatment in just six minutes. And the results are just as impressive.
Instrumental to Cartessa’s ability to be at the forefront of aesthetic science and trends, is Cartessa’s Medical Advisory Board. In Q3 2019, Dr. Emil Tanghetti joined the board and Cartessa is excited to announce that Dr. Minni Saluja has also joined this esteemed expert group.
Dr. Saluja has both a degree in pharmacy from the University of Kentucky and medical degree from Emory University. She completed research and a clinical fellowship in cosmetic dermatology under the guidance of a world-renowned expert in the field, Dr. Mitch Goldman and is now a well-known expert in laser treatments and injectibles. She has published papers on fractional laser technology, laser lipolysis, Alexandrite lasers, Pico lasers, radiofrequency devices and laser hair removal and now lends her clinical and hands-on experience to the Cartessa team.
“I am impressed to see the forethought and research that goes into selecting a device to add to the Cartessa portfolio” shared Dr. Saluja. “Not only does Cartessa evaluate the safety and efficacy of cutting-edge technology, but they also place value on conscientious design to minimize added costs like consumables. I have great respect for their leadership team, headed by Gabe Lubin and Joe Amon, and believe in their core values. I am honored to serve on the board and look forward to contributing to their vision.” – Dr. Minni Saluja
Cartessa has not only expanded their Medical Advisory Board, but the sales organization is experiencing explosive growth across the entire United States to support their increasing customer base and aggressive sales targets. The organization is on track to double revenue over 2018 and the 2020 forecasts follow this trajectory.
